When I moved to Asheville from Ohio almost eight years ago, I thought I was surely moving to sunny days and warmer weather! Boy was I in for a surprise! It seems every December-March we get tons of snow, dreary days, rain and of course lots and lots of school cancellations!! When schools close, Benjamins Kids Morning Out program also closes, which is such a bummer. Asheville doesn't seem to be prepared for any amount of snow, small or large. Being from Ohio, things start to close only when there is at least 6 inches on the ground. Here, we have a 1/4 inch and the town whole town shuts down. With that being said, we have spent lots and lots of time indoors this winter. Benjamin is such a busy body we have had to come up with lots of new fun and exciting activities to keep him occupied inside. Here are a few shots of our latest activities. Enjoy! :)
